Rock in a “Fine” City Blog
It’s heartwarming to see a lot of the old Singaporean bands I’ve grown to dig and love in this blog. If the punk and new wave scene in the Philippines started way back in the late 70s, the Singaporeans started their own thing back in the mid-80s, around the same time the thrashers of Central Market congregated for their own “revolution”.
Rock in a Fine City trawls through the early “underground” scene of the city-state, detailing bands, recordings and people who made their mark those days. So go on and read about Opposition Party, The Oddfellows, Corporate Toil, etc.
