i dont say i don’t like emos punya cara or whatsoever..but..come on lah..life is bigger than that..y emos?y don’t grab some movie ticket, ajak parent gi sama2,learn something, create something, evade more..don’t just sit there and wat miming muka emo sambil pegang payung lubang2….don’t kill the spirit of rock n’ roll

but well emos ni juga ada hak dalam slot remaja sama seperti kita muda-muda dahulu ( or aku je sorang dah tua bangka kat sini)

    Lori,
Pandangan kamu itu tidak bersendirian dan terpencil. Saya juga berpendapat sedemikian. Namun ianya lumrah muda-mudi kini, kerana begitu ramai sayur campur dan ajinomoto dalam kehidupan kita.
Siapa tahu mungkin mereka merasakan cukup bagus / hebat / bijak berperilaku sedemikian.

Mungkinkah wujudnya SELF PROCLAIMED – “Saya EMO” seperti menghadiri suatu interview? Atau pun “Saya ELMO” watak didalam rancangan kanak-kanak SESAME STREET?

Muda mudi sayur campur, masing-masing menyatakan / memperlihatkan kpd masyarakat kehebatan mereka. Cukup kelakar jika diamati, namun inilah lumrah / lurah / lembah kehidupan.

    Boss!

  7. thee dr. says:

Siape die pedulik ‘cukup EMO kah mereka?’-yang penting kena belasah kow-kownye!!

  8. epit says:

“I don’t recognize that attribution. I’ve never recognized ’emo’ as a genre of music. I always thought it was the most retarded term ever. I know there is this generic commonplace that every band that gets labeled with that term hates it. They feel scandalized by it. But honestly, I just thought that all the bands I played in were punk rock bands. The reason I think it’s so stupid is that – what, like the Bad Brains weren’t emotional? What – they were robots or something? It just doesn’t make any sense to me.”

  9. redneckhope says:

Hahaha Thee Dr. Tremandous thought. “Siape die pedulik ‚Äòcukup EMO kah mereka?‚Äô-yang penting kena belasah kow-kownye!!”
May be what they did look rediculous thus they supposed to get it.

  10. thee dr. says:

All jokes aside I think the reason I don’t like ’emo’ is because they took something of beauty (Husker Du, Rites of Spring, Embrace) and made it into something that has no meaning. You gotta understand something:there are people who live and die by Punk/UG -when it gets diluted into some form that’s made accessible to children as some kind of opiate by an anonymous entertainment/broadcasting entity it pisses me off. There’s no aggression, it’s so ‘lemah-longlai’-de-fanged and ready to be marketed. These kids are no closer to ‘punk’ than the New Kids On the Block were…but to beat them up?It is a little extreme but I think those kids were just ‘lepas geram’-then again Latino society is rahter ‘macho’ so maybe they resented the ‘effeminate’ aspect of the boys wearing make-up-but we already had this ‘movement’ before -it was called Goth remember? And on that note, Skeletal Family over the Cure anyday in terms of ‘Gothicness’-the Cure, even though a terrific band have a lot to answer for. After their song ‘Just Like Heaven’ came out all the guys who were into drinkin beer, playing football (er..American, that is) and listening to Quiet Riot got into the Cure-so it predated the whole ‘Kurt Cobain-what-if-jocks-are-listening-to-my-music’ angst by at least 3 years-which is why I prefer bands like Skeletal Family to the Cure…shit even the Church. In ‘indie’ terms the Cure were untouchable. But then again I’m a guy who thinks Killing Joke is a greater post-punk band than PiL so wharrafuck do I know?:) But I’ve gone off on one of my (patent-pending)tangents…

  11. lori says:

so they want they co-existence to be verified by society, rite boss?what kind of emo they are standin’ onto?

yup indie term-the cure were untouchable’s..but this kind of emos kids wondering around make me think as my grand dad looked at me and said” is circus’s came to town again?..owh malay youth nowadays joining royal London circus’?? ..
