SPOTS 2: The Sex Pistols on tour yet again!
Apparently my all-time childhood heroes The Sex Pistols are gonna be playing again. With five fully-booked up shows in Brixton, one in Manchester and a warm-up in LA, the Rotten fever is upon us again.
All of this started out as a one special London show planned to commemorate the 30th anniversary of their one and only album Nevermind The Bollocks LP, and now looking like a huge homecoming of sorts for the “London boys”.
With all the mainstream crap masquerading the new “new wave”, “new new romantics”, “neo-post-punk” and whatever else tagged by the advertorial press (watered-down corporate crap really), The Pistols will surely be welcomed weekend outings indeed, even when the sneer’s decades old and the wrinkles are real instead of leather.
Here are the dates:
Sex Pistols: Holidays in the Sun 2007
LA, The Roxy:
October 25th (special warm-up)
London, Brixton Academy:
November 8th, 9th, 10th, 12th, 14th November
Manchester, M.E.N Arena:
Saturday, November 17th
