SiCKL: A Space for All of Us!
Studio In Cheras Kuala Lumpur (SiCKL) is a non-profit, artists-run private studio.
It was founded in April 2006 on the faded trails of former studio space N’Desir in Maluri and the Monkee Studio in inner Cheras. From month to month SiCKL will push forward events that will not exactly fall into expected norms, whether these norms be popular, unpopular, rigid, experimental, fringe, inside or outside. SiCKL encourages and celebrates daring and irrepressibleworks in film, video, poetry, music, performance and visual arts.

Sure jadi new hot spot after this.
Bagus bagus. Aku kalau ada duit kopi nak buat gak. Tapi aku tak perenah sampai tempat nih. Balai polis depan tu je pulak dah. Boleh ke buat gig? Kang baru first gig dah ada trak parking depan.
It’ll be a great kick start for the unknown but talented artist out there
Aku rasa Free Love pernah main sini dulu kalau tempat ni dulu is N’Desir studio. Along side R.U.S.H, S.W.A, D.D.A etc.
LeeKwang dah bawak ndesir pegi Austria mastautin kat UK.
SiCKl is a new space based on those memories. Dan nanti, mungkin nak buat rock the postmodern world part3 dan sapusapu 6000 (or something etc etc)
aziz, yandsen & siew wai – if you’re reading. some kids have been asking me if it’s possible to do punk rock gigs at the place and I’ve been saying that it may not be suitable for an all out “rock” show with amsp and drums. But i think you guys know best. So whadaya think eh?
i love you, aziz!!
Well, wonder if DYSUC could organize gig at this venue. Ya know… pogo, mosh, stagediving, bodyslam, wall of death, piledriver (haha) & another usual hc/punk move during ‘Hands That Mold’ gig so far.
