Boon Not Pop, an experimental electro-acoustic improvisation project by Tan Kok Hui a.k.a Boon, former drummer of Moxuan and ChongYang. He currently drums for furniture and occasionally drums for klphq.
Boon formed KLANGMUTATIONEN, an improv jazz and noise outfit, with him on drums, Yeoh Yin Pin on guitar, Tham Kar Mun and Yong Yandsen on saxophones.
Boon also a member of EMACM [Experimental Musicians and Artists Co-operative Malaysia], a collaborative project dedicated to the facilitation, publication and exposure of creative and experimental works from the region. They generally support works that have encountered difficulties through conventional channels. Current members of EMACM consist of artists, writers, composers, musicians and publishers.
