Attitude Adjustment: They’re Back!
Back in the mid-80s, Attitude Adjustment was a part of the American crossover wave (hardcore punk throwing up early thrash metal moves) along with DRI, Cryptic Slaughter, The Accused, COC, Septic Death, Dr. Know etc. The first few recording really were classics (debut LP American Paranoia is one of those MUST haves) and I remember following them throughout the years; points of which included a band called Condemned Attitude (awesome!) and even when some of the band members gone glam-metal with Two-Bit Thief!
Back in 2007, the band reformed and played at Gilman, but now they are back in a bigger way, with rereleases coming out on Taang!, plans for new recordings and a whole world tour (including Australia and Japan). Basically I’m stoked, and here’s an interview with them:
For the younger ones, original drummer Chris was the one who formed Machine Head with Rob Flynn. Anyway, here’s a tune from their first demo from 1985:
